Event allowance
An event allowance is the number of events an analytics plan includes each month before a limit or an extra charge applies.
Most analytics tools price by volume: pageviews, events or hits a month. The allowance is how much a plan includes. What happens above it differs by vendor and is worth reading before you choose: some charge per extra thousand, some pause collection until the next month, some ask you to upgrade.
A rough estimate is enough to pick a plan. Take your monthly pageviews and add the events you plan to send, such as sign-ups, add-to-carts and orders.
In MIRA FIVE
Free costs €0 and includes 25,000 events a month. Pro includes 100,000 under fair use, with no overage charge, for €20 a month, VAT included, billed monthly. Enterprise is unlimited and priced by agreement. On Free, events above the allowance are dropped until the next month. Bot traffic is filtered and stays outside the count, and so do the exposures of an A/B test. Every plan includes every feature, experiments and feature flags too; on Free an experiment runs at most 3 weeks.
Example
A site with 20,000 pageviews a month that also sends 5,000 events for sign-ups and orders uses exactly the 25,000 events Free includes.
