Find the channel behind every buyer
Google Analytics measures traffic at Google's scale; MIRA FIVE shows the people behind it and which of them paid.
Which one fits your business?
Google Analytics fits better if
- Bidding your Google Ads bidding learns from the conversions and audiences GA4 sends it.
- Modelling you want data-driven attribution and consent-mode modelling for visitors who decline.
- Scale at no cost you measure very large traffic and the free tier covers it.
- Warehouse your analysts work from the BigQuery export.
MIRA FIVE fits better if
- People you want each person's visits, goals and purchase on one page.
- Cost per buyer Google Ads spend should sit beside the buyers each campaign brought.
- Germany a German company that stores and processes analytics data in Germany matters to you.
- Agents Claude should answer from the same numbers your team reads.

Google Analytics 4 is free, links deeply with Google Ads, and can model the visitors who decline consent. MIRA FIVE is a Google Analytics alternative built around the person: for each person who consents, it shows where they came from, how they moved, what they did and whether they bought. It is run by Cloo GmbH and hosted in Germany.
Who is each tool for?
Google Analytics suits teams that buy much of their traffic on Google, want attribution modelled across many touchpoints, and have someone who knows its explorations. It is free up to very large volumes, and Analytics 360 serves enterprises.
MIRA FIVE suits founders and marketing leads with a narrower weekly question: which channel brings the customers who pay? The Overview opens with people, new people, buyers and revenue. Acquisition shows buyers for nine channels, AI assistants among them, and every person has a page with every visit.
Which channel brings the customers who pay?
Both tools report revenue by channel. The difference is what sits under the number. In MIRA FIVE you list a channel’s buyers in People, then open one and read the visits that led to the order: an Instagram ad, a newsletter click, a return through Google search, the purchase. With the Google Ads connection, spend sits beside those buyers as cost per buyer and ROAS, joined by utm_campaign or gclid.
Google Analytics answers the same question with a model. Data-driven attribution spreads credit across touchpoints, and consent mode can estimate visitors who declined. That covers more ground; the trade-off is a modelled figure rather than a list of people you can open.
When Google Analytics is the better choice
Keep Google Analytics when your Google Ads bidding learns from the conversions and audiences GA4 sends back. Keep it when you need data-driven attribution, very large volumes at no cost, or the BigQuery export for your own warehouse. MIRA FIVE credits first or last touch only and has no warehouse export.
Where is the data hosted?
Google processes Analytics data on its own infrastructure, including in the United States. MIRA FIVE is run by Cloo GmbH in Auerbach and hosted in Germany; analytics data is stored and processed in Germany. A new website source sets no cookies and stores nothing on the device. MIRA FIVE follows a visitor across visits once they consent; to count those who decline at the same time, use a Full website source with each page choosing the mode per visitor. Compliance depends on what is collected and why, and hosting is one part of that.
Running both
Add the MIRA FIVE script beside the Google tag, set up the same purchase goal, and compare for a month. The numbers will differ, because the tools count and model differently, so read the gap rather than the totals. MIRA FIVE counts from the day its script goes live, and your Google Analytics history stays where it is. Free includes 25,000 events a month with no card, and Pro is €20 a month for 100,000 events.
