Sample people list of a shop: seven people with their stage, first touch, visits and value. Emil Becker, a customer who first came via Instagram paid social, is worth €328.00; Liam Zimmermann came via organic search and is worth €219.00.

Person-level analytics shows the individual behind each number. MIRA FIVE keeps a visitor profile for each person who consents: where they came from, every visit, and what they bought.

## One person's path, in order

Emil Becker came from an Instagram ad 11 days ago, then from the newsletter. A Google search brought Emil back to pay €328.

Sample path of one customer, Emil Becker, over twelve days: first visit from an Instagram ad (paid social) to /collections/new-in, a newsletter click, then back through Google search to the merino sweater; the cart, the checkout and an order of €328.00 followed the same evening.

## From first visit to customer

People move from Visitor to Returning, Known and Customer. When someone who consented signs in, earlier visits join one profile.

1. ### Visitor
Came once. Counted as a person from the first consented visit.
2. ### Returning
Came back at least once, on any channel.
3. ### Known
Signed in. Earlier visits on that browser join their history.
4. ### Customer
Bought. Revenue and the path to it sit on their page.

## Segments that keep themselves current

Describe a group once, like people who left a cart this week. It updates on its own and holds 23 people now.

Sample segment “Left a cart this week”: people who added to cart at least once in the last 7 days, did not pay an order, and are not customers. 23 people match right now.

## Questions this page answers.

- What is person-level analytics?
- How can I see what a single visitor did on my website?
- Which channel did a customer first come from?
- How do I link a visitor's history to their account after sign-in?
- How do I find people who abandoned their cart?
- How many visitors come back for a second visit?

## Questions about people.

### Do visitors have to consent?

To be followed across visits, yes. Visitors who consent get a profile; everyone else is still counted as visits, pages and channels, with no cookies set.

### How are visits linked to one person?

Through consent and sign-in. A visitor who consented is recognised when they return. When they sign in, your site sends their user id, and their earlier visits join the profile.

### Can I export or erase one person's data?

Yes. Export and erasure start from the person's page or the Privacy page. The export holds their profile, visits and every event.

### How does a segment stay current?

It is checked each time you open it. A segment holds up to 10 rules, matched on all or any, so an edited rule applies to past data too.

Create a project, add the script and ask visitors for consent. Profiles build as people come back.
