Sample data: the report of the purchase goal Order paid over the last 30 days: 154 conversions by 138 people (+19%), a conversion rate of 13.3% and €21,582 in revenue (+30%). The median time from first visit to purchase was 10 days; 52 people took between a week and a month. Most first came from organic search (24), direct (22) and paid search (21).

Conversion tracking in MIRA FIVE starts from events you already send: pick one, give it a role, and see who reached it. For purchases, revenue is read from the event itself and reported per currency.

## Any event can become a goal

Give it a role: purchase, conversion or intent. An order, a sign-up and a look at pricing all work.

Sample data: what people did in the last 30 days: 391 added to cart, 231 started checkout and 138 paid an order; 59% of people who added to cart started checkout.

## Who is close to buying

An intent goal marks buying signals, like starting checkout. People who reach it and have not bought appear under High intent.

Sample data: 138 people reached the goal Order paid (13%) and 231 started checkout (22%). 52 people showed high buying intent lately without buying yet, such as a returning visitor last seen on /checkout two days ago.

## Revenue from the event you send

MIRA FIVE reads revenue from the purchase event you already send. Each currency is reported on its own.

```
mira.track("order_paid", {
  userId: order.customerId,
  properties: { revenue: 328, currency: "EUR" },
})
```

## Questions about goals.

### What is a goal in MIRA FIVE?

An action that counts as an outcome, with one of three roles: purchase, conversion or intent. Each goal shows who reached it, where they first came from and how long it took.

### Where does the revenue number come from?

From the event you already send. MIRA FIVE reads its revenue property, or another property the goal names, such as value. Each currency is reported on its own.

### How is time to purchase measured?

From a person's first visit to their first purchase, shown as a median, such as 10 days. It needs visitors who consented, because it usually spans several visits.

### Can a sign-up be a goal?

Yes. Give the sign-up event the conversion role, and its page shows who signed up, where they first came from and how long it took.
